I did it again.

Why do I take my wallet with me when I go places? Completely stupid. I got through the quilt store and Jo-Ann’s with plenty of quilting materials…but I forgot to buy the one thing I actually needed. Clasps. I guess I can’t finish that skirt tonight after all!

I do still need a few more materials for the quilt, but I’m getting there.

Just for the fun of it, think of the fabrics as 1-12, starting with 1 at the far left and 12 at the far right.

Which fabric did I choose the rest of the colors from?

Which is my favorite?

Well, I like 3 and 10, but I am not you. 😛 The colors seem the most linked to 3, though, in a weird way.

I’m not sure what kind of clasps you need but there might be some in my studio dungeon.

And actually, it happened again. Because I went with Mouse to both Viking and Joann. Fabric was bought at both places and then, I was driving us outta the Joann parking lot and Mouse remembered about the clasps (aka flat hooks and eyes) and I said, “let’s go back in and get them.” It wasn’t easy. The cashier was someone about my age who was having a bad day/going thru menopause/I dunno what. She had been rude to Mouse earlier but I think she couldn’t get it up to be that way with an old bag like me hanging around too. She tried. Sigh. We got thru it.

Clerks everywhere: be polite and *nice* (if you can) to everyone no matter what their age is. You never quite know who you’ve got at your cash register.
